buongiorno, Little Italy

Today was an early walking tour, starting with a group meeting at 11AM. Especially after a late night full of invisible legs, it was difficult to get up for it, but definitely worth it. We went to Little Italy and an open-air market. This was a church that was converted into apartments in Little Italy, which is apparently very common in Canada.
We stopped in a church that was still a church to compare it to the French architecture, and it was cool to contrast the Italian and the French styles. This is just a sample of the wonderful fresh fruit for sale at the market. There were also random performers scattered around the market who kept us entertained during our time there.

Gotta say, the metro system is better than ours back home in DC. So far, Canada's rocking my world. We take siestas every day and it's awesome.
